What a clinic actually does, in four screens
Patient records
One file per patient, found by name, phone or file number. Allergies sit at the top of every screen that touches them, where they cannot be scrolled past.
Appointments
The day at a glance: who is booked, who is waiting and for how long, who is in with the doctor. Double-booking is refused by the database, not by a warning you can click through.
Consultations
Vitals, notes, diagnosis and a printable prescription. Once signed, a record is sealed — corrections become new entries, exactly the way paper notes have always worked.
Billing
Invoice and receipt from the same visit, with serial numbers that never skip. Healthcare is GST-exempt in India, so tax stays off unless you switch it on.
Built for the questions you get asked about patient data
Separated by role, in the database
Your receptionist books appointments and takes payments without ever being able to open a consultation note. That is Postgres row-level security, not a hidden button — the rows are never sent.
Every record read is logged
Not just changes: who opened which patient file, and when. It is the question a clinic gets asked after a privacy complaint, and the one most systems cannot answer at all.
Numbers that survive an audit
Invoice serials are allocated inside the transaction, so an abandoned bill never burns a number and two receptionists never get the same one. Required under GST, and rarely done properly.
What we do not claim
NIM Clinic is not HIPAA-certified, ISO 13485-certified or IEC 62304-certified, and we will not tell you otherwise. What it does ship is encryption at rest, tenant isolation enforced in the database, role separation for clinical notes, an audit trail covering reads as well as changes, and your clinic’s own data, exportable at any time. If you need to be built to a specific quality management system, tell us and we will quote it.
Open your clinic’s day in two minutes
Name the practice, and you are set up as the doctor with numbering, a starter price list and an appointment book ready to use. Invite the rest of your team when you are ready.
